Covering the three home counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
May is now fully booked and with one date in July and one in August available, 2014 is looking like all predictions are coming true. So why is it proving a popular year? With around 20 wedding last year it too proved popular, but some couples had reservations on the number ’13’. With no clear pattern to this year’s dates, the popular month of May seemed to get booked up quite quickly. I have been in the difficult position of turning work away. This is always upsetting as many of my clients come through recommendation. But all it indicates is make sure you book your photographer early to avoid disappointment. Already I have bookings for 2015 which is unprecedented. So its all very exciting as we move through January. I have already touched base with all of my brides for 2014 and have reminded them of any detail change to keep me informed. I always send out a shooting list in Excel format and T&C’s to reassure them of any contractual obligations for both parties.
For brides that have chosen the album package, the time is right to start thinking about their free engagement photo. This can be displayed at the wedding reception for guests to sign around the picture mount. This is one of many options, some couples still go for the traditional guest book, maybe with the photo displayed on the front, or the new idea of a thumbprint tree. All of which I can supply to the couple in whatever form they desire.
We are just days away from Buckinghamshire’s finest wedding show Aylesbury Waterside Theatre wedding show and there is a little change from previous shows in that Nigel Crump Photography will not be exhibiting BUT I will be amongst the audience talking photos of the catwalk shows and generally making myself visible. So come and chat to me. The date is Sunday 9th February- 11am until 4pm.
